Hi Ryan, you very kindly asked me to contact you as you had not heard about our case (IVA 1966) . Sophie and Daryl have been trying to help us with this - it is very frustrating as there are at least 3 properties that have the same water supply and no trouble getting a mortgage and getting responses through our solicitor has been a nightmare as he keeps telling us that Halifax take ages to respond - everybody in our chain is ready to move and each time we ask for clarification of exactly what Halifax need to have evidence of it takes an age so we are getting really anxious. We would be so grateful if you could clarify

I am now aware of you case and this is a legal issue your solicitor and the surveyors are dealing with. It was only raised with us on 21st September, and Halifax replied on 23rd according to the notes.
Can I suggest you ask your solicitor to contact us when he sends something to the lender so we can chase this, as in our experience, solicitors are very slow to do anything, and very quick to blame others.
