Hi my IVA is officially over! It ended early via F&F. My question can I start taking steps to rebuild my credit file or will I have to wait until the 6 years is up?

No, you do not have to wait. Some things will take the ordaibed 6 years from the start, but you can make sure those ducks are ready in a row. Checkinf default dates and getting them corrected if need be --- have a read here: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva- ... dit-record and also tjhe last few entries on my blog ( link in my signature block ).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
