Today I received a letter from Aperture saying there is a surplus balance in my voluntary arrangement account.
I finished my IVA in 2014, then all the PPI started which I think is all finished now.
In this letter they want my bank details to do a bank transfer but I thought they would already have them.
I was wondering if anyone else has had one of these letters and is it genuine. Thank you in advance for any help.

I would contact Aperture directly, using the details on their website, rather than anything in the letter , and ask.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

I would certainly contact them by phone and establish the legitimacy of the letter.

It might be they are checking as circumstances could have changed since your iva concluded, but best to be sure.

If they do offer a refund, there is the type of questions that a legitimate company wouldn't ask, a scam would need a bit more than the account number and expiry date. Genuinely hope its good news, mush admit its rare to hear of an IVA company giving anything back, maybe it does happen? not sure.
IVA complete March 2014 after 6 years.

Thanks for all the replies.
I phoned the company today, and the letter is genuine.
I am now awaiting correspondence regarding my refund. :D
