releasing equity to buy a home in New Zealand?

im living in new zealand and renting our uk home.we have approx 200,000GBP in equity.our mortgage is with barclays.we want to release that equity to buy here in nz but barclays say no as we dont reside in the uk.is there a way to release that money to buy a home here in new zealand.thanks

Are you in debt in the UK?

I'm afraid that this forum is for debt problems.

The only thing I can suggest is that you sell your UK house.
