Remortgage after a lump sum?

Just Completed my Iva 3 years early thanks to a lump sum - but my question is - I k ow it stays on my credit file for 6 year but would any banks look at me for a remortgage or will I just have to wait

I doubt you will get much joy until the 6 years is up, but might be worth chatting to Ryan or Shaun, who are both whole of market brokers with extensive experience of the adverse credit market. Their details can be found on the drop down "Quick link" --- then click on "The Team" (top left).

There are lenders who will look at offering a mortgage when the IVA still shows on your credit file, but as it is so recent, they will charge you higher rates than normal.
If you are looking to raise some further funds then this may be worth looking at, but if it was to try an get a lower rate, then probably not worth looking into. Happy to go in to more details if you wish to get in contact directly at the website in my signature below.
