I hope you're all ok and keeping safe. So I contacted a solicitor to look in to this matter for me and they stated that it would be around £1800 to complete. So I tried to complete it myself and filled in the RX3 form and sent this off. I got a reply stating that I needed to provide evidence to have the restriction removed. As this was 2007 and I have zero paperwork or evidence to provide I am now completely stuck and no idea what to do. What they have said is
Panel 9 of your application in form RX3 does not contain sufficient evidence for the restriction to be cancelled. Please state the nature of the interest protected by the restriction and explain how this has come to an end so that it is clear why the restriction is no longer required. Please lodge evidence to support the end of the interest.
As I don't have the funds to ask a solicitor to represent me in this and I don't have any evidence to support my application I was hoping, wondering, praying that somebody on here might be able to help me out at all.
Did you ever contact IVA Trusts at Aperture? I can 100% guarantee it wouldn't cost you a penny, and you won't have to muck about with evidence and RX3s etc. As your IVA failed, your former IP has no financial interest, bar perhaps ppi etc.
Hi! I used to work for one of the UK's biggest Insolvency Practitioners - I don't work for an IP anymore but still have an extensive knowledge of the IVA industry. How can I help?

Mention your name, your reference number if you remember it, your DOB and the property address, and explain the situation.
Current land reg timescales are 2-3 weeks to remove restrictions

OK thank you I will contact them. I am still a little confused as to why they would help me and it wouldn't cost me anything, when a solicitor was trying to charge me £1800 and the Land Registry wont remove it unless I provide supporting evidence. Is it really as simple as emailing aperture and asking them to remove it? wouldn't they need to go through the Land Registry to have this removed?
Yes I sent off the RX3 form myself as there is no cost but they sent me an email asking for proof and paperwork Foggy but I don't have anything to prove anything. So I feel its unlikely they will remove it for me. I was shocked at the solicitor as they quoted me £150 then when it was already to be sent they said because of covid and your situation its now £1800. I was devasted and now back to square one. Hoping that aperture is litgit and able to help.

Please please please stop panicking and listen to what you're being advised. I work for an IP/IVA company, so do have an understanding of this process.
Aperture will fill in an RX4 form which will go to Land Reg, and it'll include copies of their authority to remove the restriction.
It will not cost you a penny, as it should have been done when the IVA failed - it'll normally take 2-3 weeks to remove it but that might be delayed by covid; land reg are super busy at the moment.

Thank you. I have emailed them. Forgive me for being sceptical and given my past history with things I don’t understand why a company would help for no benefit. I really do appreciate your advice and I have contacted them. I will let you know how I get on.
WallE given what Foggy has said do you still recommend I communicate with Aperture? Can anyone explain why Aperture would help me remove the restriction with me not being able to provide any supporting evidence. The Land Registry won’t do it and a solicitor wants £1800. I just don’t understand why they would want to help and at no cost so no financial interests.

Yes, I do.
Aperture have no interest in the restriction and will remove it. Land reg are just covering their backs, and the solicitor is just trying to get their pound of flesh. It doesn't cost Aperture anything bar a land reg search to do it, and they won't charge you as it should have been removed at the time. Aperture will hold the authority to remove it, and the court orders dealing with change of IP etc to provide as evidence. You have nothing to lose, everything to gain.
Foggy, is there any way of sending someone a private message on this forum?
