I was a client with Vanguard untill Ebengate took over.
Ebengate now want me to change my monthly Payment method from Standing Order to Recurring Card Payment, which I am reluctant to do at this stage. Ebengate tell me that They don't have a sort code and Acc number for me to set up a new Standing Order with them, which i find to be Total B S. As I see it ,so long as I am making agreed payments on the agreed dates, I am not in breach of agreement.

This is happening more and more just lately - they cannot change your agreement and force you to pay by card. Stick to your guns and refuse and continue to pay by SO. They will have a sort code and are just trying to bully you.

When you engaged your IP one of the material factors was that you agreed the method of payment --- that is an intrinsic part of your contract ..... if they had insisted on RCPs at the start you would have taken your business elsewhere .... they cannot change that agreement without your approval.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Being really cynical I have to question if the back office support location https://ebenegate.co.uk/ is now proving to be an issue linked to how people are paying their IVA's.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

I wonder how many people who have not found this forum have actually signed up to it?

If it is not in your original paperwork they cannot force you to do it. As far as I am concerned this is bullying.

I have hd the same issues with this cow boy out fit. They tried to increase my payments by £100. I challenged this increase since I earned less since the last review. I spoke to three diferent people claiming to be my Case Manager none of them could explain the reason for the increase all they kept saying is "we use a formula", but they couldbt explain the formula. I decided to make a formal complaint to my supervisor. He sent me a expenditure form which I completed. I have heard nothing since and my payments have remained the same.
This company does not have peoples interests in mind. They just want to get as much money out of you. You must challenge everything they do. The next issue that you will come across is Ebenegate trying to force you into using Recurring Payments. This means that they can take what they want out of your bank account without your permission. Dont agree to it .
If you want to see how bad your supervisor is go to the insolvency practitioner sanctions page on the Goverment website gov.uk

Totally agree with foggy and kallis - this approach is unacceptable and you should stick to your guns and refuse. Recurring card payments are quite dangerous and before you know it they could be taking far more than your agreed monthly payment. Let us know how you get on.

Do not be bullied - they are trying to intimidate you.
