Hey,

Husband now has a permanent employed position this involves him travelling up and down the country. We have an old car which cost us £714 just to get through it’s Mot and it’s costing a fortune in general wear and tear due to the age of the car.

Anyway, his company have offered him into the salary sacrifice for a car and this allows him to use it for personal use so we can get rid of ours as it won’t be needed. We are a family of 6 so there isn’t much choice.

The total cost is £707 per month however in our budget we are paying £490 per month to run our car. So the different is £217 which we get dla for our son, so this will go towards the cost of the vehicle.

Our Iva company are taking so long to approve or decline. The quote is time sensitive and we only have 4 days until this expires which then needs approval by his work once the Iva company have decided. Once it expires the quote could increase or that vehicle could no longer be an option.

Does anyone know how long this process takes and has anyone been through this before what was the outcome?

If it is declined what are our options?

Just to add the Sal sac includes
Vehicle
Insurance
Tax
mot repairs and servicing
Breakdown cover
Tyre replacements
And it’s electric hybrid free to charge at work and fuel card.

Any advice would be appreciated
