I am terrified of clowns! Ever since I read Stephen King's "It" I cannot look at a clown on the TV- and would run a mile if I encountered one in the street. Just typing this note is making me shake.

My youngest daughter used to be frightened of sellotape, it was the ripping off noise! She's ok now though. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I remember reading that book Mel! Must admit it didn't have that effect on me, but I've never been fussed on clowns.

Strange the things that scare us!

Don't mind frogs and toads but hate moths.

I don't mind moths, but I'm terrified of toads and not keen on frogs. I hate deep water and won't put my head under, and I don't like fish either.

I dont do spiders. My fear was made worse during recent tours in the gulf!!! Those camel spiders are just terrible to be chased by and the fact the ones we have are tiny in comparison doesnt make it any easier for me!!!

I dont do enclosed spaces very well now either after an incident in an air raid shelter in southern Iraq!!!

This thread is like an AA meeting!!!

Don't mind very small spiders but not large ones, don't mind fish, love snakes and lizards but don't do worms or very small creepy crawlies.

[:D][:D][:D] It is like an AA Meeting!

I have a real problem with wasps - I cant be in a room with one.
I have to have all windows closed n air con on in the car when driving, just in case one gets in! Ive been on journeys as a passenger n had to stop n get someone to get it out!

Cant do confined spaces either after locking myself in my wardrobe, when I was little!

I also have a problem with dentists!
Had some horrendous treatment in the past n my dentist from my childhood/teenage years was taken to court n is now on the run!

I'm the same with wasps - I drive hubby mad if there's one about! Bees I will tolerate as they are useful.

I'm fine with confined spaces and have been stuck in a lift on a couple of occasions. Don't like downward escalators after I almost fell down one once and it takes me ages to take that first step.

I also don't like heghts unless there is a barrier between me and the drop and then I'm ok.

Same here Jan about the bees - plus they do not bother you! My hubby gets annoyed with my reaction to wasps to - especially if one goes near me at a BBQ in front of others.

I forgot about heights - Im like that too. When I 1st went to see Bryan Adams & it being my 1st concert, it was in a football stadium n we were up in the gods! I sat for 3 hours need to go to the ladies before I "had" to go n tried to walk down the steps n ended up practically crawling down! OMG its was high! I dont know how they let a bunch of rowdy, boozy football fans up there - without one falling down n creating a domino effect!!!!! It ruined my 1st BA concert n of course had to go 2 another one the next year!!! (u may of seen my piccys on FB!)

Don't have a problem with normal steps.

I did freak out a bit when we climbed to the top of the Statue of Liberty and part of it is a spiral staircase with a very low handrail!

Got the chance to wander about the new open air theater thats just opened in our town. And took my boys to the top sat up there n myself n my eldest both felt sick n had trouble getting back down!
No handrails there either! So glad my sis booked seats on the ground!
