Some one has just said to me that the windfall agreement states that anything under £500 I can keep ? So surely I can keep first £500 and give them the rest? I’m trying to find my IVA proposal now . The windfall clause means if the windfall is under £500 you keep it -- if it is over £500 you pay it...

There will be a standard equity release clause in the agreement you signed --- the house, as such, isn't affected, but the lending on it might be, in that you are to try to release equity, if your share of that equity is over £5k. If unable to release any equity they will extend the IVA by 12 months...

I’ve received a cheque from Lloyd’s this morning not from PPI but compensation because they didn’t take the appropriate course of action when dealing with my account. This account isn’t my IVA as was closed in 2012. It’s for £655. Can I keep this ? I imagine it would be treated in the same way as P...

It will be based on 85% of your share of the equity and you will have to wait until they tell you how much to release, as there are other limits in play. It may well be that you would be unable to release the equity by way of remortgage or secured loan ( and , depending on your terms, a secured loan...

It will be Aperture. If you haven't had equity addressed yet there may well be some more to pay in, either by way of equity release or a further 12 months payments.

She can get a copy of her credit reports, or sign into a free service such as Noddle or Clearscore to check financial associations and have them removed of they are historical.

At least it is moving ! As long as they have sent the copy of the completion papers to the Insolvency Service ( you will see your entry tghere marked "completed" when they do) the PPI issue will not affect removal. It is usually the interest that GT / Aperture allow some clients to keep, d...

I am afraid that this refund should be treated in the same way as PPI refunds post completion and be distributed to your creditors .... unless ... there is, indeed, a condition in your Full and Final, any money as a result of PPI etc after that point (May 2018) is no longer applied to the IVA, and i...

There is every chance that any settlement will be payable as an asset into your IVA. I assume that you are already in alternative housing so would not need to negotiate a sum for resettlement. To be honest, my first thoughts are that any share would be minimal reflecting 2.5 years contributions to t...

If you speak to them simply say that you are entering an IVA and that they can contact your IP if they wish. Do not get into any discussion with them --- very often they are a third party tasked simply to get a payment and some at this level don't even seem to know what an IVA is !
