There is a report error button on the register which you can use to initiate contact with the Insolvency Service. They will respond by email asking you to send a copy of the completion certificate, if they can't find it doen the back of a filing cabinet.

For most firms an hour and a half would be plenty ... but a couple , these days, and one in particular, seem to be having problems with meetings and sometimes take days to get their act together.

Remortgaging, though not impossible, is highly unlikely. If you could remortgage you would be expected to pay off as much of the full original debt, plus fees and possible statutory interest as possibe. However the release clause has it's own glass ceilings (assuming you have the usual clauses): The...

I doubt that £1000 would be accepted against a debt of £21,000. However, the gift could be used to get the debt below £20,000 for a DRO -- assuming you meet all the other criteria. If not it could be used to fund BR (£750), again, assuming you would be happy with BR. Do you rent, or are you a home o...

If they have over 25% of your total unsecured debt, they could have the power to stop the IVA. On the day of the meeting you will need at least 75% of those who vote to say yes ( that is 75% by value of the debt, not 75% by numbers voting voting). You have probably been speaking to a collections tea...

Assuming you have the usual clauses (and all will be revealed with a good read of your paperwork) a permanent pay rise is not taken into account until the annual review follwing the rise and any increase added to the regular payments following the review. All of the extra money between getting the ...

Many people in an IVA get student finance with the agreement of the IP. The problem here is, possibly, not the finance itself, but the fact that you haven't discussed it or got the permission of your IP. There is always the chance that they will notice at some point, so maybe it would be an idea to ...

Rather than re-opening the arrangement, it could be set aside (invalidated) by the courts if the IP is so minded to apply and the court minded to agree. There are other sanctions like fraud charges. Again, if the IP is so minded.

They have to submit the report to creditors within 2 months of the anniversary date, so they do have a good amount of leeway. If you are worried, give them a call.

£30k is high for a DMP, but, of course, it will also depend upon the anticipated repayment level. But, more to the point, creditors often like to see a gambling free period and a short term DMP is one way of reducing the stress of trying to make impossible repayments during this period.
