I’ve just gone into an iva on the 17th jan and due to receive holiday pay at the end of this month with my monthly salary . I didn’t use all my holiday days at the end of last year. Would the holiday pay be subject to the 10 50/50 rule, or is it the case that because it relates to last year and I’m...

I am wondering why you want a mortgage if you have that much cash at your disposable?

Depends on location --- central London, that's a 2 up, 2 down in some streets ! Here it's a street !

It would fall under the 10% 50/50 rules. But IP's often have different interpretations of various clauses.

Another question im already paying 20 a month on my iva for a phone so technically iv only raised it by 15 pound a month more would this also work in my favour as its only an increase of 15 pounds more a month than what they already know about? I doubt the IP will agree to increase the phone allowa...

That is a good offer and both creditors and Stepchange should be happy with it -- they will get what they signed up for as well as save a lump on administration costs over the next few years. From what I gather Stepchange are pretty much on the ball with these things, so hopefully all should go thro...

I am afraid that we debtors have very little recourse to mediation and resolution when things go wrong. The only official routes we have are internal complaints procedures with the IP involved which we can escalate to a complaint to the IP's regulators in due course, via the Government Gateway at : ...

In relation to this, can I ask the experts: some phone companies now do the phone contract as two parts, so much for minutes, so much for the device and you are technically signed into a loan. Some phones are £500+ which leads me to the credit limit query, is this acceptable? My contract is with a ...

The IP will need to see and understand any paperwork associated with the debt --- so will need details of the original debt and the documents signed by his sister and then by you. Anything you sign would be null and void if you ended up taking it to court .... he has denied you legal advice and is bullying you into signing a, frankly, fraudulent or, at best, shonky, document. He cannot blame you in any way for his past financial mess. What it seems he is trtying to do is to g...
