Not what you want to hear, but, as you say, while the IVA is on your credit reference files, your credit ...

It varies from firm to firm. Some are very thorough and some barely look at all. Time-wise, again, some firms will take the 6 months to get everything wrapped up, whilst some manage it all within a couple of months. But you can use the time to get everything as straight as possible.

When your last payment is made in September 2023, your IP will review the final 12 months to check for any missed extra income. Then they will look back over the whole term to dot the i's and cross the t's and make final payments to creditors. When they are happy they will issue the completion certi...

Does the IVA stay on a year after completion? I would be looking to write and clear my credit reports (I assume this would be to each individual organisation), but I was thinking it may be easier to wait for a lot to drop off. Most of my defaults seemed to happen after the IVA, but a couple were be...

However, on completion, the loans are legally written off and there will be nothing from which to issue accounts...

From that wording I suspect that she is trying to add some leverage and encourage them to accept. The word "likely" gives her room to carry on the IVA if the offer is refused, whilst emphasising the wisdom of creditors accepting the offer.

Usually, if a F&F is refused, the IVA is allowed to continue on it's merry way, as before. However, if the terms of the offer are such that you say, or imply, that you are making the f&F because you cannot afford to continue the agreed repayments then the natural progression, if the offer is refused...

It will depend on whether these loans are discovered by your IP at review and, then, will depend on the circumstances and the attitude of your IP. More importantly is why you needed to take these loans on. As you are, it seems, taking regular loans, there could be an issue that should be sorted out ...

Congratulations, Lisa. Have a read here ... https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva-do-to-your-credit-record When I finished my IVA everything was done automatically, but, these days, some IPs suggest you send copies to reference agencies yourself ---- which, to be honest, is a waste of time because ...
