You can make an official complaint to them, and, if this is not productive you can escalate the complaint to their regulatory body. I would also send an email, detailing this issue, direct to the IP ( you can get the address from your entry in the Insolvency Register ).

Better you think of a way to get her to pay for the windows herself, rather than transfer any into your account.

There is a template for a short letter here: https://www.iva.co.uk/letter6-f-and-f-offer-during-iva You could add in a limiting paragraph such as " Please note that the amount of any payments made after [insert date] will be deducted from the lump sum being offered, which will be reduced accord...

Its very hard losing a windfall when you have been living frugal whilst on an IVA. It happened to me when I had to have £6k over. Money I never expected. The long term picture is that I had debt freedom at the end of it all. I do think that you should be able to keep some of a windfall - there is a...

Normally votes are in before the meeting and I was always under the impression that they should be done by the time of the meeting and, if not, if it makes no difference to the outcome, creditors who don't vote, are bound anyway. Is this for variation meetings for F&F? Yes, variation meetings f...

As recovering says, they could see the windfall on your bank statements, which they can ask for at any time, especially at the annual review. These things do have a habit of coming out of the woodwork. Also, if it was fom an inheritance, the executors are duty bound to check and contact your IP befo...

CF are awful at communication, but their completion process does seem to be one of the less painful. They tend to follow the path of least resistance to provide a budget airline service.

In theory the PPI and similar refunds are assets of the IVA in perpetuity. In reality, it depends on whether it is economical, or the IP is motivated enough, to dig out old records and contact former creditors.

Thanks guys. Fingers crossed it won’t take that long to go through and then hopefully it’s excepted! But from reading others posts on here I take it Credit Fix are not quick moving! I’ve only been with them a couple of months as I was always with Knightsbridge and they were really good. They are no...

Payplan do march to their own drum these days ! To be honest I am surprised that an IVA was offered for such a small debt -- bit of a sledgehammer to crack a nut ! But, of course, there might have been good reasons at the time. Balances on credit reports, or even creditor statements, cannot be relie...

I am currently on an IVA through Hanover Insolvency, plan was accepted March 2018, so far so good. However I have recently received a letter of enforcement for a penalty charge notice dated Dec 2017. Amount owed now stands at £423, for £70 parking charge I thought was covered. What can I do? I'm so...
