The likelihood the issue is to do with their proposed charges. I’m so clueless, what does this mean? Can this be rectified? Charges are queried at nearly every meeting and are usually sorted at the time. CF do tend to try to charge more than most, and might not back down so easily. At the end of th...

I am having exactly the same issues with Creditfix at present and now on the fourth adjournment of variations meetings in relation to my proposal to close my IVA with available equity. Reasons given have been vague and lacking in any meaningful explanation. If the proposal had been accepted at the ...

The paperwork layout and procedure for the majority of cases has been pre-agreed by creditors for those firms who use Protocol or R3 terms. This was to make the system more uniform and faster to process the applications. It would seem that CF are trying to depart from the "norm" and set up...

Just a thought ... have you actually sat across the table and spoken with a Business Manager fom NatWest, face to face ? We have had a few instances where a business account was refused in the "automated" application process, but was subsequently granted once a human being was put into the...

So this seems normal? Does it mean that there may still be a chance for it to go through eventually. I’m a nervous wreck Normal for Creditfix, but not an industry norm. As I said, I have seen this routinely with CF recently but they still seem to manage to pull it together in the end in the majorit...

I have been on this forum for 8 years and, until CF appeared on the scene I never heard mention of regular adjournments of creditors meetings and rarely came across single adjournments while the IP canvassed creditors to get a meaningful vote .... but this seems to be the norm at CF. There is obviou...

Hello everyone. I have recently applied for a Business account with Natwest but they have come back with an insolvency/bankruptcy flag. I'm assuming this is my IVA. Only thing is my IVA was settled five maybe 6 years ago! I am fully solvent, have a mortgage, car finance etc so my credit history is ...

Thanks foggy, unfortunately I am somewhat of a serial overthinker, it's a joint IVA for me and my husband, debts only total around £7000, between approximately 10 creditors, which considering some cases I've read is a relatively small amount. We have just had our MOC date through 17/07/18! So anoth...

Interlocking IVA's basically lump the finances together to be treated as one sum, so your initial calculations are broadly on the right lines. Anything over the full debt, fees and interest (less payments to date) will be yours. Regarding PPI -- remember that only about 2/3 rds of the refunds will h...

I have had this arguement with the Insolvency Service and them denying any removal from the register before three months, whilst I was telling them of instances happening while we were discussing the matter --- in the end they simply stopped responding to me! I do not think it is legislation but rat...

As Luluj says, assuming your husband conducts the IVA correctly, the house will not be lost. He will, however, need to investigate releasing his sghare of the equity towards the end of the IVA. I am afraid that, if you have transferred the house into joint names then he legally owns a share.

Sorry, me again! Just been doing some nosing around online and have seen people saying they are paying as little as 8p of the £1 to their creditors, per my proposal, should it be accepted I would be returning 55p of the £1. Considering a lot of what I have read, this seems to be a great offer right...
