I Have had another letter today saying I have been awarded nearly 3700 in Ppi compensation.... that must be nearly 16k and there is at least 1 more claim outstanding .... amazing how much we all paid! Indeed -- I don't doubt that some of us would have needed an IVA if the PPI hadn't been lumped on ...

I would like to agree with Kallis -- but I have always had a nagging feeling that there are records / archives available to the chosen few which go beyond the statutory records. The fuel for this nagging doubt ? : that claims companies going after PPI claim to be able to go back 35 years, without pa...

If I am in an IVA, and have been awarded a loan from student finance to start in September, will that be classed as income, and will some of it have to be committed to the IVA? I will still have the part time job that my original IVA payment is based on. Most IP's will offset this against what it i...

Do Creditfix and the creditors gain out of this deadlock, part of me wonders if it is by design?

Not if payments have been suspended by prior agreement or if the offer includes a condition that payments made after a given date will be deducted from the lump sum.

Do you still pay every month while you wait for IP to sort F&F? Do they stop taking the card payment? I would put money to one side if so. Depends on if you have agreed a payment break with your IP. If not, it is usual for payments to continue and they will not be deducted from the F&F lump...

So It could Ip decide to go for bankcrupcy straight away?

He could -- but it depends on the actual terms of your IVA and the creditors instructions.

So is depend of creditors? How they will sort this out? First it will depend on how your IP decides to handle it. He might give you a chance to put things right. If the IVA is terminated your creditors are then free to try to collect the debt any way they think fit. They will add back lost interest...

If they terminate the IVA due to breaches the creditors can apply for bankruptcy, if they think it is worthwhile. They might do it right away (some IVAs have a clause that, in the event of a breach, the IP will petition for bankruptcy behalf of the creditors). or they might take several years. If th...

Technically the money should be paid to your IP for distribution between creditors or return to you if the IP deems this uneconomical. I doubt that your IP would argue the point with the bank though. You could fire off a complaint to the ombudsman --- they do not involve themselves in IVA's, but, as...

I have approximately 20 months of my IVA left. I woukd like to make a full and final offer. My payments are £79.50 a month. How much do you think i should offer. This is being paid from a friend and only to pay off the IVA. Over the next 20 months (assuming that you are not a home owner) the credit...

Hi,

Does anyone know how to make an online payment to creditfix. Or know where their bank details are?

Kind Regards

You will have to get that information from your case worker as each client has a different client account to pay into.

Welcome to the journey ! You will be all over the place, emotionally, for a while, but things soon settle down. You need to declare everything financial (even extra under the 10% threshold ) and it will be down to the IP to request required payments, if they are due. It is better to tell your IP eve...

Creditors do not see a "score" as such. They look at your history. A clean history makes them wonder why. Modest credit card usage demonstrates that you repay the debts. They also weigh up the use of the cc debt ---- if you use near the max credit they wonder why you appear to "depend...

The end of your post sums it up nicely Willo. CT often try this move and sometimes sneak in other little changes. You are not obliged to agree to any change to the original conditions and it is, in my opinion, wrong for CF, or, indeed, any other firm, to try to make changes without your consent. CF ...
