Assuming you have the usual clauses you will keep all of the rise until the next review. From then on your IVA payment will increase by 50% of the rise each month.

You also tell them to remove any reference to BR and they will do so. Hi, I had a conversation with Payplan today and they said they can't remove the bankruptcy clause after it has been signed as a legally binding agreement. So that one of the outcomes of the variation meeting will be that I may be...

Why does she not wish to provide the statements ? She could redact them to hide her business and just leave your wage showing as a receipt into the account.

Topic: Kinsgate insolvency taken over by Vanguard Insolvency & PPI issue tossed around

Vanguard should have paid the PPI to you as they seem to have no interest in it -- as Kallis says, technically it belongs to the creditors but I imagine the old Kingsgate records are archived and it isn't worth the trouble to dig it all out. Contact Balck Horse and tell them that Vanguard had no int...

You need to check the Insolvency Register to see if you are still on that --- if you are, send them a copy of the termination certificate. Once you come off of this you will then be able to get credit reference agency files from each of the three agencies cleared up if the start of your IVA was more...

Try your local authority and also look in the local paper for local landlords who rent privately without using agents --- many will not credit chs=eck and I am sure your current landlord will give you a reference. The L.A should also have a list of landlords you could try.

I see no reason, two years after the fact, to mention any financial connection with the house. It is your house and your mother lives with you is all they need to know. Does she work and have an income with which to service an IVA ? If so they will base the figures on that, after making allowance fo...

Topic: In creditors meeting for F&F offer, if they didn't vote is it a automatic yes?

not voting is not an automatic yes, or no --- that creditor is ignored. You need a 75% yes vote (based on value) of those who vote on the day. I imagine those who did bother to vote gave an overall no response and your IP is trying to get the others to vote in order to try to get a yes majority.

Don't know if it is still the case, but the Stepchange website used to give hints as you filled in the online I&E. But, as Kallis says, put down what you spend and the IP will adjust accordingly.

I doubt he would fail you for getting a phone contract. If you are not claiming any extra expenses ( allowances) for it I doubt he would even notice.

Business accounts for those in an IVA tend to be difficult to procure -- but some have had success when approaching the branch business manager, in person, as he can override the automated refusal you will get from the computer. Barclays has been mentioned a couple of times in this regard (as long a...

First I would suggest she chat to several firms for advice. As for the house conundrum .... when did she sell her house and give you the deposit on yours ? The problem here is that, say she was to go bankrupt, the official receiver would get the house sold to get that deposit back if it was done rec...

It is possible that they have the IVA on file due to one of your former creditors being in the same group of companies or it could just be down to the lottery that seems to prevail these days --- acceptance for credit and good rates can, it seems, be as much down to the time of the month or fianacia...

I have seen instances where former creditors have lent again and I believe Barclays were one mentioned before --- but lending is never an exact science. I think the dice play a bigger part than we would like to imagine !
