Even if your IP agreed, the interest on such a loan would be astronomical and only the less than responsible lenders would consider it. Are there any family members or friends that can help ?

Excellent news --- Well Done !

One thing that CF do do well is closures, so it shouldn't be long until you are signed off. Remember, though, that your credit rating will stay shot for another 4 years or so, but, at least your money is now your own.

This delay is becoming commonplace and is often down to unthinking staff at the firm you are with.

Kevin .... are you a homeowner ? If not and the IVA fails, would you consider bankruptcy if it does not impact on future employment prospects?

if they can not afford the pay day loans could they not go back to them about it being unfair lending? It might help if they can get the interest frozen and pay it back over a longer term, then hopefully it wont have a big impact on their IVA expenditure figures. Hope they get it sorted x Tasha, I ...

I am not familiar with the term "PDH claim" relating to an IVA. What is usually recorded against the title in an IVA is an RX1 Restriction. Who were you with for your IVA ? -- they should be able to get the restriction lifted ( if that is what it is). If they are long gone there is another way, as a...

Hi Paul, You could claim the PPI -- but you may well be asked for a declaration of no interest from your former IP, which could prove problematic. DFD sold their caseload on and I have no idea as to the status of closed cases in that scenario. If you use a claims company and the creditor either with...

It is pay after tax ... what actually hits your pocket. If you are in any doubt ask your IP if you can scan over your payslip every month and get them to tell you if you owe any extra --- but still check yourself !!

They should be able to account for the monies. I would be insisting that they do --- I don't think they will amend the final report. Some IP's do return PPI refunds to you if they declare "no interest" (basically if uneconomical to distibute or they can't be bothered). If you do not ask, I doubt the...

PPI remains an asset which belongs to creditors in perpetuity. Windfalls are yours, as long as they arose after the IVA completed, from right after completion. Credit ratings and PPI apart, things return to normality as soon as you have finished.

Keep the lines of communication open -- as you might have gathered this will require work from you --- they are not too hot on it ! Don't look at the 5 years ahead, as time passes think of what you have achieved. If not dwelt upon 5 or 6 years do fly by ! Be open and honest --- work with the IP, not...

how are you able to get a pay day loan while in an IVA surely when they do the checks they will see the IVA on credit file? is that not irresponsible lending? It is irresponsible lending and the courts have quashed such loans in the past when they have got that far in enforcement. But the issue rig...

You can ask the IP to exclude the house, given the circumstances, which they might mitigate by proposing an additional 12 months on the term. There are solutions with a helpful IP.

You will probably be able to keep them, though the allowances for them might be tight.
