So you creditors are expecting you to pay in another £11,232 They will be looking at more if you advise the wage increases as you are supposed to do ....... Have you been telling your IP about extra income so far and paying in th...

Aperture do have their own way of interpreting the clauses and calculating the equity. However I was under the impression that Select did it the generaly accepted way. The method generally used would be: Market value - £180,000 x 85% = £153,000 Less mortgage o/s of £147,000 = £6,000 equity Aperture ...

Permanent increases in income by way of a pay rise are taken into account at the annual review following the rise. 50% of any net increase in income will be added to your regular monthly payment from the month following the review --- this is assuming you have the usual clauses in this repect.

Hi there We have been in an IVA for almost 5 years which was mismanaged by Giva, Knightsbridge and then subsequently Creditfix who closed our account for no reason and would not respond. I am horrified and I fail to see why, when we have voluntarily entered a 'so-called' government scheme to sort o...

Aperture are still floundering after recent case acquisitions. I doubt they are trying to shift blame, but are just in a mess. Keep copies of all correspondence and keep pressing them.

Hmmm ... it should have been disclosed at the start of the IVA and the possibility of having to repay built into the agreement. I don't know the impact this will have now and can only advise a chat with your IP.

Cobby if you are in an interlocking IVA then the total joint equity could be less than £10k (5k) each for the equity clause to kick in. How much equity is there and is this based on a valuaiton? We are unable to re-mortgage anyway so surely the equity part of it doesnt come into it now?? surely it ...

You do not have to take out the secured loan, but they often work out better in the long run than a remortgage at high rates. Don't forget with a remortgage, you are not just remortgaing for £45k --- you are remortgaging the whole of yours and her equity, so the whole new mortgage on the property wi...

It is possible to allow the IVA to fail, but it would remain on your credit files for the full 6 years. The creditors will add back lost interest and possible charges and will be able to pursue collection as they see fit. They might not wish to negotiate a repayment plan. That said they would be foo...

About £45k -- enough to trigger teh release clause. However, it is possible that A2Dominion will have a condition to their ownership that you are not allowed to remortgage so the 12 month extension would have to be applied.
