The bank will have your IVA on record whether it is in the Register or not, so you could just grab the bull by the horns. How the bank approach it is anybodies guess I am afraid, but I guess you have nothing to lose -- I doubt we are talking a King's Ransom. Technically, even though you weren't awar...

It's early days and the right hand doesn't yet know what the left hand is doing --- it often takes a few months for news of an IVA to filter through all departments.

Never heard of QIS --- which doesn't mean they are bad, just not mentioned on the forum. Regulars that post on here are Neville and Co (Lisa Thomas). McCambridge Duffy (Michael Peoples), Freeman Jones, who get good press. There is also, of course, the number on the top right of the screen for advice...

To my feeble mind a great part of the IVA is the rehabilitation aspect and, of course, leaving the experience debt free. I feel that early exit loans defeat both of those aspects and lead you right back into a potential debt spiral.

Sounds like you have completed, although I stand by my last comment on this 28 day lull --- more tomfoolery and laziness. They won't have mentioned completion because, with your provider, it could take some time and they do not want to raise any dust.

I assume what they have actually offered you is an early release loan --- these do work for some but not all --- nothing to lose by getting the figures together ! I do look at these things with a smidgen of suspicion --- making every payment is a requirement of the arrangement and not grounds for a ...

The standard clause is that they allow you to keep the equivalent of six months income with which to carry on while looking for work. They take the rest. Now, when you find new employment, anything left from the 6 months worth also should be handed over to your IP (from what I gather, not all IP's s...

Most votes, these days, are made by email, phone or fax and gathered prior to the "meeting" (which is often no more than a count). You should know the result within an hour, but some firms are very lax and seem to forget that you are there, waiting! Be prepared to chase them.

Good luck.
