You will not get a "better offer", but you could get better service, or have a better relationship for the 5 or 6 years. An IVA is an IVA, broadly speaking, whoever provides it --- but you are looking at comparing EasyJet to Etihad Airways --- levels of service do vary. CF have thousands of happy cu...

You can request a statement, but, at this stage, it will tell you little. Dividends are distributed quarterly / 6 monthly (whatever frequency was agreed) and, usually, the first 6 months payments, or more, go towards nominees fees ( for setting up the IVA ) so creditors would have got nothing so far...

Sometimes the option for bankruptcy is includedin an IVA if it fails. However, most of the time is not. You will have to read your proposal to find out which it is in your case. If the IVA fails, and automatic BR is not written in, your creditors could still decide to make you BR themselves --- but ...

1. After the 6 years is up, will I still be penalised? For example, would I be eligible to buy a new build that offers a lower deposit? Or will I always have to put down £30,000 plus? Will I have a higher interest rate due to having had an IVA. It will get easier to get better rates and access to m...

I received my letter from Aperture / FDM a couple of days ago and returned it, completed as requested. I answered, truthfully, that I could not recall the details of any accounts, other than those my supervisor already had records of. My last mortgage ended over 20 years ago -- I haven't a CLUE abou...

A credit score of 999 is not a good score --- it is a default score given when they cannot give you an accurate score for whatever reason. Lenders do not see numerical scores anyway, but see the actual history, including the presence of the IVA.

A F&F offer is usually based on the number of payments outstanding multiplied by your monthly amount. It can be rounded down a little, dependig on the amount of time, and therefore admin savings they could make, you are shaving off the original term. Bear in mind, though, that the higher the offer t...

Ask your IP for a payment break just before the changeover, to give you a cushion of that payment. The 'missed' payment will be added back on at the end of the IVA.

DFD cases were passed to Aperture in late 2017. I do not know, but maybe the interest in and responsibility for the continuing trust of closed cases would also have been transferred.

This is all uncharted territory and no-one knows what 'rights' the former IP has to open new investigations, or what obligation you have to agree. Also in question is what leverage the IP could apply. I have received my FDM letter and, having merely skimmed it over for now, I am not averse to them t...

It is possible that they might not notice. But, in any case, you should take steps to curb the gambling before it becomes an insurmountable problem --- losing that amount regularly must already be stretching the budget to breaking point.

The debt that is in joint names your wife should be paying anyway, so little will change there, except it will become joint again. The other debts could increase as creditors will add back lost interest and charges. They will then be able to chase you for repayment as they see fit. Terminating an IV...
