I am sorry, but I have to disagree with the advice given to you thus far. A 6 month admin period is built in to your agreement. Now, some firms take a few weeks, others exceed the 6 months. The average being 2 to 3 months. Until all claims are finalised the IP will be unable to make up final account...

Hi there I was wondering if you could give me some advice on my Iva . I have made 3 payments so far into my Iva totalling £300 . I currently have £8100 worth of payments left to make , if a third party was to gift me £8100 as a full and final settlement what do you think my chances of it being acce...

Explain the situation to your IP -- hopefully they will agree a payment break (which will be added back on at the end of your IVA) in order for you to use these payments towards clearing the fine.

Yes, complain to the IP and escalate if need be. The regulators will not actually intervene, but can fine the IP quite heavily if they find him at fault -- this usually gives them cause to look at your complaint seriously in case it hits them in the pocket. Get confirmation in writing regarding the ...

In short --- it doesn't ..... usually!. A 6 month admin period is built in to standard Ts&Cs as a matter of course. Most firms take a couple of months, some take a couple of weeks. But, a couple take the full 6 months. Some delay could be down to awkward creditors putting in different claims to ...

Lodge a formal complaint requesting a full written breakdown of their calculations along with a written explanation as to why these figures are wildly different from the figures they calculated at each review and how they could make such significant errors every time. This will give you specifics to...

As I mentioned on a similar thread, Creditfix appear to get themselves into these corners much more often than other firms, but they do often also manage to turn the vote around by getting other creditors to overturn a refusal. Good luck.

The chances are that the IVA will fail, taking you back to square one. This will see the last three years wasted. However, if you keep quiet and it is discovered at following reviews, or at the final review, the IVA could fail then .. taking you again back to square one, but wasting 4, 5 or 6 years ...

She will be expected to pay her fair share of household expenses, which will, in some areas, allow you to be paying less towards them -- this will increase your disposable income and, therefore, your IVA payment could increase accordingly.

Great news Nikl :-) I took the liberty of changing the "not" to "now" !

I found being debt free kind of strange for a while when I completed --- and, 5 years on, I remain debt free and it still feels odd --- a good odd, but still odd :-)

Thank you for your kind words.

Im on annual leave now, so they'll have to wait before I contact them. Although, they usually send an email followup with all their messages, which I haven't had, but they're usually for things like you're in arrears and you're not because of the letter time delays. So, is that the case, if a PPI i...

Hi all I phoned CF just now asking about my F&F meeting on Friday and an outcome. I was told that one creditor has refused the offer and apparently the senior on the case has 7 days to try and over turn the decision and they will get back to me after the 28th September! Is this how it works? I ...
