If they are not regular I doubt the IP would pick them up --- and, if they did, your explanation is satisfactory.

There is no limit to how long an IVA will last --- usually it starts at 5 or 6 years, then can, as in your case, be extended to make up arrears or those 9 missed payments. It can also have a year added if you own your home and cannot release equity.

IP's will ask for whatever they want -- it varies from IP to IP as well as from review to review. Keep all payslips, bank statements etc in a box file, so it is all there if you need them.

If an IP resigns from a company the case is either transferred to another IP in that firm, sold on to another firm or travels with the leaving IP, depending on the circumstances. Although the IP is appointed as supervisor the ultimate responsibility with keeping the IVA on track rests with the debto...

Didn't realise Noddle was a credit agency.. the IVA is on there still but not on Experian or Equifax.
Noddle is fed by a TransUnion Group company --- CallCredit, which is the actual CRA.

It shouldn't be an issue from the point of view of the IVA -- they just need to see that the money isn't yours. If the IP has doubts about the source he might question further, but I haven't come across this happening before, as far as I can remember.

That's what I'm unsure of, if I ring them up will they start up the IVA again? It's been 14 years and they've never chased me for any payments nor have any creditors. The debts will be statute barred by now, so collection cannot be enforced. However, statute barring does not mean the debts no longe...

Okay foggy thank you, so can you explain how I go about the money how do I put the money towards to iva company as a f&f offer when the time comes. You make the F&F offer to your IP stating that the money is from a third party and will only be available for the purposes of the F&F. Your parents wil...

As far as I am aware an IVA does not affect a POA application and Barclays have no power to refuse to co-operate. The account is not in your name, nor are the funds yours, but you are merely administering them on behalf of the account holder ---- if the Office of the Public Guardian is happy for you...

If you are still on the Insolvency Register I am surprised the IVA isn't still showing at each of the three credit agencies ( have you checked them all ?) in the court information section of the report.

First --DO NOT accept a cash gift of over £3k from your parents ! They must make the f&f payment direct from their own account. Considering that you are making around the minimum viable monthly payment I imagine that creditors would be pleased to get a lump sum offer. You have a year to save up £300...

I would write, direct to the IP, asking for clarification regarding equity release in your case. I am afraid that the extra year, if it is imposed, will have to be added to the extra years dealing with PPI -- these are seperate issued and both have to be dealt with .... but, there WILL be an end poi...

Swift do seem to have their problems .... they are not conning you, but don't appear to be the brightest tool in the box. If they have not held the creditors meeting yet you should be able to cancel. Whether they charge you for work done depends on what you have agreed with them up to now in this re...

The V5 states and records the registered keeper . As long as your parents physically purchase the car, in their names, and retain ownership it is not your car, but is being kindly provided by your parents for your own use. The only issue could be if the running costs exceed those already agreed on t...
