If they treat the back pay as a windfall, which they can interpret as such, then they should not increase your IVA payment until after the next review. If the back pay is under £500 and you have the usual windfall clause you should be able to keep that as well.

Let your IP investigate - tell them to communicate with your IP who can then tell them to go away They had got in touch with the IP themselves and that is now why our IP is asking why we didn’t include them in our Iva. I’m really stressed now as I’m scared it will make our Iva fail when we really d...

They are not likely to make any change between now and the deadline -- apart from pushing claims. There is no reason for them to suddenly decide that, as the gravy boat is running dry they will let us have the dregs .... they will be going for those dregs themselves! As for the PPI contributing to s...

I believe the Mortgage default will show for 6 years from when it was lodged -- so another 3 years. Including it in the IVA will only allow it to be marked partially settled ( if the lender reports it as such).

Some firms are a little more "creative" than others ! Personally I would be worried that they are able to manipulate what should be set figures so easily or blatantly.

The 10% 50/50 rule applies to overtime and bonus payments. Permanenrt pay rises are dealt with at the review following the pay rise and the IVA payment increases by 50% of the increase the month after that review. Between the rise and review you get to keep all of the increase. So a lot, here, will ...

PPI refunds go to your creditors (after fees) and increase the amount you repay off your debt. The idea behind the IVA is that you repay as much as you comfortably can, within the terms of the agreement, NOT that you only repay the monthly repayments set at the outset. So PPI refunds, overtime, bonu...
