My experience is that it will take a bit longer than the 6 year drop off point. I found that because I had absolutely no financial history after the 6 year point that my score took a while to actually show any increase at all. It was close to 1 1/2 years after the 6 year point that my score started...

Hi All A quick question to all Creditfix customers. I've watched the video which explains the review which is useful but I do have a few questions? 1. They say it takes a one time snap shot of your online banking accounts, how many months is this snap shot over? 2. I have 1 account which my wages a...

I think I may be in breach of my IVA. I'm in my 5th year with about 8 months to go. I've never missed a payment but have taken out 2 credit cards since the IVA started and have additional debt of £4000. I'm ay my wits end, like I was before the IVA started. I'm so scared this will fail. I've cut th...

If you go to term the creditors are looking at at least £13.5k from you. But, you will be saving them a chunk in hassle and admin costs. My first thoughts are that £7.5k might be a little light and thet £10k might be better. However, I have seen very light offers accepted before. Worth at least a ch...

The clock starts ticking from the start date of the IVA. If the IVA started in 2010, it should be long gone from your records. Have a read here: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva-do-to-your-credit-record then go check everything is clear. I would also suggest a chat with Ryan and / or Shaun, wh...

Hi. Asked a similar question last week but still not 100% sure. I completed my IVA 4 years ago. I had a small PPI award from a non creditor (PPI was taken out many many years ago). Is this still payable back to IVA? Checks for PPI were made during the life of my IVA and this was paid to creditors a...

Most companies will not charge for work at this stage -- but ... some do. This will depend upon the terms of engagement you have agreed with them. Which firm have you been using ?

As long as you have correctly paid over the agreed "share" of extra income they have no recourse to ask for more. Sometimes an IP will come back claiming an underpayment, but they need to provide you with their calculations for you to either challenge or agree.

Yes my IP has been very helpful and 'creative'! So if and when my salary goes up I don't need to tell them straight away, just obviously at a yearly review?

Thanks for the reply btw!

You do need to tell them when it happens, but it shouldn't be accounted for until review.

My Iva has been sold on three times. Which means all my personal data has been passed on with out my permission. The last time it was done I refused to deal with the company but was threatened with bankruptcy. So I had no choice. How is this legal. Unfortunately the passing of an IVA from one IP to...

You are entitled to as new I&E once baby has arrived, as is your wife, -- whether the creditors will agree to a reduced IVA payment is down to them. The pay rise, assuming you have the usual clauses, should not affect payments until the annual review (or revised I&E) following the rise, afte...

I should also add that i feel we were mis sold our IVA ( which is in my wifes name only). when we started the process we were led to believe that the equity release clause was just a formality and no one would offer us a remortgage as my wife is in an IVA and therefore we would just have to pay ano...
