I am sure the last few years have educated you in the ways of budgeting abbiesmum . You know what you can and what you can't afford and I am also sure that you have a good head on your shoulders and just need a little confirmation and advise to reassure yourself. I have no doubt the IVA company will...

Personally I wouldn't. You are in effect attaining further unsecured debt (even if less than £100). The Hire company will pre auth the card amount and at that point you may find the card limit has already been cancelled by the issuer.

Congratulations Gavin. I agree with Foggy, the pension draw down will not be of interest to your exIP. Good luck in your future.

It would be a huge kettle of fish that no one person would want to try and get a successful president from. Most people, me included, would just not be bothered to assist in such an action. My IVA is over, I am debt free, I owe no one a substantial debt and pay only a tiny bit of interest on my new ...

Was your total debt 14700 or does this figure not include fees and calculated interest? or was the figure of 14700 reached by calculating your affordable monthly payment multiplied by 60 months? Unless you pay 100% of the original debts, plus fees and interest then you will continue to make monthly ...

Because of the IVA you are not 'entitled' to any PPI even if it was from loans before the IVA started. As foggy says, neither are NetWest. You can just leave it and let NatWest have the refund or write to them stating the refund is not theirs to keep and you will be letting your ex IP know that this...

Either one department of your EXcreditor doesn't know what is happening or they are trying it on. As foggy says get your IP involved, he/she should still be representing you in a proactive manner.

First off, did your IP at any time during closure mention PPI refunds? I doubt it as you say PPI wasn't 'a thing' 6 years ago. Don't sign anything, deny any knowledge of the PPI being an asset of the IVA in your period of being in an IVA. I doubt very much your IP has the time, will or legal backing...

Looking through the mobile phone bills the other day and noticed that my granddaughters bill was near £50 higher than it should be. Warning bells straight away as she is really good at keeping within her allowances. Inspected the bill, transaction by transaction and found 17 received texts at £2.50 ...

Just do it and let them get on with it. You won't benefit from PPI now or in the future even once your IVA is complete. If they want to waste their time revisiting PPI claims then sign the paperwork and let them. They could delay your CC if you don't, and you have no benefit from not doing so.

Only your IP can give a definite answer to your specific question. As a general rule and judging from post made on the forum here, 3 to 6 months.

The bottom line is that doing the reviews is part of the IVA contract you signed up for. Things happen when in an IVA that just can't be forecast, we just have to suck it up and comply. You can of cause refuse and take the consequences if you feel that you are being treated wrongly. It really does g...
