Asda is open until 8PM, still enough time to pop out and get a couple of bottles of plonk :D . I really hope you have got over these hurdles now.

Need to point out that Creditfix has suspended all full and final offers until they can sort out "paperwork" issues - this is probably not the best time to do anything that involves them. Is it wise to approach the creditors individually to offer settlement fees seeing as Creditfix are ha...

The interest would have been frozen to facilitate an initial figure to achieve, as rates can and do change there is no way for creditors to say exactly what that figure would be over the term of the IVA, what they would and can do is calculate the final sum based on statutory interest which I believ...

Your original debt would have been calculated at the time of the IVA proposal, the £19k would have been set as the maximum amount to be paid back given the figure of disposable income. @ £180 a month that is only £10,800 over 60 months, you need to be aware that you will still owe the full amount of...

I have been a member on here since the inception of my IVA and increasingly have been noticing that people pose questions, which get several answers, support and advice. Normally from the forum experts who do an outstanding job policing the threads and posts to stop snarky and impolite answers (I ha...

It really does become a real PITA when all you are asking for is some closure on the 5 to 6 years previous that took a lot of strength, commitment and will power to accomplish. I feel you will have to contact Equifax, again, to get the notice of correction removed. I feel your pain

Technically yes, any increase in income or saving from depreciation of an outgoing bill should be paid to the IVA.

I am surprised the payee didn't make the necessary checks to see that you are insolvent before paying you directly! You need to come clean to your IVA company, speak directly with you IP rather than a desk jockey as he/she will be more understanding and have answers immediately to hand.

I echo Lisa's statement, put the £111 away, don't be tempted to spend it. If the variation fails or it takes too long and you back out of it then you have at least got the money to make your payments up to date without any hardship. CF are making a right pigs ear out of their 'new' procedure and it ...

As has been said, you are protected, by a court order in fact. The debt collectors will know that and as Foggy says call the Police if they return as intimidation and causing distress is a criminal matter not a civil matter like the debt they recon you owe. I can't empathise your distress as I never...

What a horrible experience you had to go through, like Foggy says the paperwork wouldn't have filtered down to the debt collections or bailiffs in time. But have heart in the fact that your IVA was arranged and started before they did turn up. After that little episode the next 60 months will not be...

Pre warn your IVA company. Once you have provided all proof then I can't see it being a problem.
