Sit down with your Mum and explain what an IVA is, chances are she has never heard of it! It will be hard and you will want the floor to swallow you, but your Mum would be more than messed up if she found out her gift went to your creditors. You don't want to be in possession of a sum of money that ...

Hi Mary, as the others have said, just let it be as it is. There are no circumstances where you would have benefited from any of this money less for paying back 100% of the debt plus Interest and IP fees. It isn't worth the effort to make a big deal out of it.

Since the end of my IVA and my credit file getting all pretty and positive I have never needed to provide my CC. However, I have 3 copies, one in the fire safe one in the Daughters house with other documents and one in my draw. You just never know!

Congrats Anthony. It is always nice when someone posts a positive experience, especially with a notoriously "slow" big company. We must have had the same team as when they were GT I had no issues at all and there were some real horror stories going round then (GT was not my company of choi...

Hi minnie, a well known feeling by most of us. I never missed any payments, but was taking on more debt to pay the bills and really day to day costs for food even. Your IP is going to throw all sorts of jargon and options at you, just try to be calm and take it exactly what is being put to you. Once...

It was never a prerequisite of your IVA proposal, so as Foggy says you can decline and continue to supply paper statements.

CF can not fail your IVA because your husband refuses to divulge his financial affairs. They can 'demand' nothing from him.

I would flatly refuse to divulge my partners financial information, as long as it can be seen you are paying at least 50% of the bills and outgoings then there is nothing in law that can make you pass his information to CF.

I agree with Foggy, do not consent to this amendment, all it means is that they will then calculate all your OT at 100% of income not the 50% originally agreed in your initial proposal.

I paid my car insurance monthly even when in my IVA so I can't see there being a problem, as long as your Ins company don't block it.

Are your calculations including the full amount of the original debt, fees and statuary interest or the figure your IVA company calculated you would pay at the monthly rate from your initial proposal?

I seriously doubt you would get extended finance for your car. My IP also said "yea, no problems, once the finance is up you can refinance for another car as long as your payments don't change" that didn't happen. The finance company rep I spoke with almost burst out laughing at me once a ...
