Good luck recovering, talking to a human may just be the way forward rather than letting some computer algorithm make a grown up decision.

At the rate some companies have been taking to get an F&F together 8 months would seem like not enough time at all! You could put the proposal to your company and tell them there are time restraints on the availability of the funds and a decreasing factor as each month passes, may make them get ...

If you are posing this question with the hope of getting some PPI refund if you now claim, then I am afraid you would see non of it. All PPI refunds are payable to your IVA supervisor if you were in or are in an IVA. If you do proceed down this route be aware that if you use a claims company you wil...

Ignore them. You are not obliged or legally held to talk to any 3rd party company over your previous IVA or your current finances. If they continue to call you can report them.

Get the car company to write a statement saying you will be in further debt if you surrender the car. Use this as proof to your IVA supervisor that even downsizing is going to increase your debt and you are happy to carry out the further 12 months of payments.

I think the letter was originally worded " We are taking the amount that your original debt left us short after the dividends from your IVA, this leave you a wad of cash to the sum of £???. We ain't telling your ex supervisor about this as he will snaffle the whole amount as he will know we is ...

You have either listened to or been given incorrect information. The only one entitled to PPI refunds if you have been in or are in an IVA is your supervisor. The funds will be distributed to your ex creditors unless your ex IP doesn't have the inclination to chase this up and states his non interes...

I can't see you getting further or extended credit for your car. You will probably get into further debt with the finance company if you decide to surrender the vehicle due to them adding surrender costs. I would suggest you get your car company to give a surrender notice showing fees if you give up...

Hi Claire, as a rule of thumb I would never entertain a company who called me out the blue over anything. You being in financial trouble gets out to these 'ambulance chasers', them pestering you for your approval would have had me telling them to do one rather than complying with there persistent re...

Like Foggy I haven't seen any real horror stories on this forum about FJ. There are always going to be some complaints about companies as people tend to air their bad encounters and seldom praise when it all goes to plan. My IVA provider had a huge list of disgruntled customers, my experience of the...

You have to have signed the proposal that CF will have produced. If you haven't you are free to seek advice from other companies and if you want go with them rather than CF. This isn't something you need to rush as it is going to affect the next 5 to 6 years of your life.

If you are not yet in the IVA then go ahead and buy it now. As long as the car cant be seen as an asset and at less than £1k it won't be, you are pretty much OK. The running costs should be added as an outgoing when you and your IP calculate your I&E document, remember to add a cost outgoing for...

I would concur with Foggy, they were a listed asset of the IVA agreement and legally you will need to hand this money over.
