Total agree with Foggy, keep a keen eye on any increase that it put to you. Dig out your proposal now and take time to look it over again, just so you are firm in your understanding of ,average income' isn't misinterpreted by them.

1/2 way through my IVA I was informed of Additional Debt, I refused to acknowledge the debt as mine in a letter to my IP as I did not recognise the creditor or the amount. Turns out it was an included debt that had been sold and bought a few times, last one to buy it found out I was in an IVA and su...

I think maybe wait those couple of days. McC D are at least still in communication with you and are not dismissing your questions. It isn't unreasonable to want it over right now, but there are processes that your IP and the IVA team have to complete first. A was said in a famous film "patience...

I would cancel, but not spend it. If they take extra payment due to lapse of information then it would be a right pain to try and actually get this money back off them, where if you have it and they then say you have 1 or more payments left you at least can just pay it over.

Like an Ostrich burying it's head in the sand, you can ignore everything about you but your 4rse is still vulnerable.

Foggy just about sums it up. I fear you will see nothing of the money and your IVA will continue until the end of the contracted date or you actually pay the full amount to the debts, stat interest and the IP's fees.

Just bad timing on the part of the buying recovery company really. Nothing for you to worry about as the original debt is covered under the IVA no matter who eventually receives the dividend.

If you never directly contacted this company then just throw any paperwork in the bin, they have trawled the IR and found your name and address and are just trying their luck that there maybe additional PPI they can claim in your name and rake the ~40% commission. That ~40% would legally be payable ...

If this was a joint loan in both your names then the creditor will expect you to fulfil the full amount of the repayment plan not just 1/2 even thought he loan would be accounted for in the IVA. If she was the sole signee then you have no legal obligation other than a moral one.

I agree with Foggy, although it is possible it would be ill advised to do so until you have been released from the IVA with your completion certificate.

I don't think anyone on here would tell you to "jog on". We all know and understand our failings to those we owed money to. The vast majority of us would not even think of lying about our debts to 'swindle' money out of genuine creditors or use a lie to pad out the figures. Good luck any w...

You need to start a dialogue with Aperture over this. There may be a bit of crossed communication within the departments as Aperture are renowned for not always getting it right! Speak to them asap otherwise you will just get more frustrated.
