Although you do technically have to comply with your ex IP over PPI, I feel that EIF are overstepping the mark making statements about redress and action being taken if you don't comply with them! You are not duty bound to EIF under any circumstances and certainly not obligated to abide by their let...

I was stunned by the final figure that I claimed back from PPI refunds. My IP got the full figure as I did all the leg work without a claims firm hacking their 40% cut. It would have helped, a lot, but I really don't think it would have kept me out of the constant debt spiral.

No, you are overthinking it all. The only receipts you will need are those that would be necessary for a warranty claim from a purchase. Most reviews will require a number of pay slips, P60 and bank statements.

It will be classed as income, however you can off set the balance with an expenditure of the same amount. The loan, I assume, is for 'stuff' you need for Uni? Just inform your IVA company and list what it is going to be used for, books, extra private lessons etc.

I think you may have shot yourself in the foot. Not only will your IP be feeling wronged but your creditors will be livid that you have in effect deceived them and attempted to pay a lesser dividend than the proposal due to you hiding assets. Chances are, like Foggy says, that the creditor petitioni...

Any note of default or partially settled make not one iota of difference until the 6 year date is reached. Your creditor will not even go through the motions of amending anything, including what you may think of as being recorded incorrectly, until that date. Things like this, although troubling to ...

First off, sorry to hear of your troubles. You need to initiate and start communicating with your IVA company, after 4 years they don't want you to fail either. Communicating your story and current situation is the best way forward, your IP has several options and solutions they can adopt, stopping ...

Topic: Do I have to give Creditfix access to my bank account
Replies: 9

Is this a 'new thing'? Banks are always grinding on about not allowing access to our accounts, so I seriously doubt they would condone it. If you feel uncomfortable with the process then get CF to highlight where in your proposal or chairman's report it says you HAVE to. I would not have been happy ...

Everything depends on at what stage you cancelled the IVA. If it was before the creditors meeting then no action would have been taken by the IVA company, if it was after the meeting and you had signed the proposal then I am surprised that the IP has not contacted you. You need to supply a bit more ...

Also, as an aside. If you used a claims company to get the refund then you may end up in debt again as your ex IP is under no obligation to refund them their 30% or so cut of the refund!

It does sound like a total misunderstanding, but nothing is underhand. Black Horse are just complying with instructions that have been dealt with in a court of law and is now standard practise. It is your ex IP who you need to communicate with and get a full and documented break down of who it is he...

Need to point out that Creditfix has suspended all full and final offers until they can sort out "paperwork" issues - this is probably not the best time to do anything that involves them. Is it wise to approach the creditors individually to offer settlement fees seeing as Creditfix are ha...
