HI Scook, All defaults should have the IVA start date recorded against them, if not contact the Companies concerned and they will amend the date. The defaults will then remain on your credit reports for 6 years from that date as will the IVA. It's best to check all 3 credit reports if you haven't al...

Your score may not improve significantly until 6 years after the IVA began and it's at that point (unless you settled the IVA relatively early) that we can look at re-mortgages with High Street Lenders. Make sure to check all 3 of your credit reports (Experian, Equifax and Callcredit/Noddle) as diff...

Noddle isn't the quickest to update - it can take 30 days for the actually report to reflect changes but if the information has been removed Lenders will see an up to date version of the report when doing searches.

You want the accounts defaulted as early as possible so that, as Foggy says, they will fall off your credit reports after 6 years. If all your Accounts have been defaulted that's good and will save you plenty of time when you have completed as you won't have to get the dates amended which can take a...

Hi Mat, It's unlikely you'd be able to take your wife's name off the Mortgage unless she was moving out of the property. Its all to do with obtaining vacant possession and in our experience most/all Lenders aren't willing to do so as down the line it could lead to issues for them if they were lookin...

Hi Kelly,

Lenders have differnet criteria as to when/if they will lend following an IVA. We'd be happy to look at your situation if you were to contact us.
