Ah okay, it was just a paragraph- that's why I thought it was fake. Thanks for the responses Hi there, Out of interest how long did it take to get your letter through after last payment? Waiting for my letter of completion to arrive from Payplan. They quoted me 3 weeks....haha that’s already been a...

If the sale is already agreed wouldn't any creditor expect all the equity to be paid into the IVA?

Up to the max owed of course.

If you are making a profit from the business then it IS worth something and this looks as if you want to put it in your wife's name, continue working at it and have those profits go to her instead of your creditors.

No reputable company would ask for access to another persons online banking. For one thing, if your bank account gets compromised the first thing the bank will ask is "Did you give anyone your login details". If you answer "Yes" then I would think you can, quite rightly, kiss goo...

I imagine you would have to prove it wasn't you driving. As long as we are talking about private parking company parasites, which we must be if debt collectors are involved, then no you don't. You just need to inform them. They may squal and wring their hands saying you should have told them before...

The parking "fine" is easy, simply give your ex's details to the parking company (not the debt collectors, they should be ignored) and that is it. Not your problem anymore.

To answer you question OP we still think as if the payment for my wife's IVA is still going to go out and our last payment was September. It still comes as a nice surprise.

1) The charges may be lower with other providers

We need this IVA to be accepted so have told IP that we agree with the extension. It’s an interlocking IVA with my husband. NRAM isn’t one of the creditors I think they said it was barclaycard and NatWest who wanted to extend. Offering £20 extra makes it look as if you were holding out at the begin...

Don't be scared. We started in a similar position and the first month was such a relief. Just to be able to go food shopping on payday and having enough left over after the first week to live on for the rest of the month made life so much better. As did forwarding any debt collector letters to the I...

Do IPs not advise people to set up another bank account at the start and get wages paid in there? I'm sure Payplan did with us.

Most of them authorise £1 to make sure the card is live and then the actual amount goes through in the normal way so it takes a few days :) I can't see it changing. Can you imagine the uprar if they authorised, and blocked you from spending, £100 everytime you used pay at the pump and you had to wai...

My caseworker just acknowledged the uploft and reminded me my last payment is this month! Just have to email her on the 30th when the SO goes out then I get passed onto closures! Not long now --- you will find out that the light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train coming the other way ! :-) I th...
