Possibly not as it is a bit on the low side but always worth proposing.

If they say no you continue on as normal and perhaps try again once the balance is a bit lower.

No you need to work with your IP to see if perhaps you can reduce your payments or postpone a few payments to pay the new credit off (assuming the breach isn't cause for failure outright) and try to rescue your IVA.

IVA stands for Individual Voluntary Arrangement

Your partners income has nothing to do with your IVA EXCEPT when some firms will ask for details when calculating the household income and calculating your share of expenditure and surplus available for contributions into the IVA.

Just make sure the landlord is listed as a creditor, even if it's for a contingent/unknown potential future debt put them in for £1.
