Did creditors receive statutory interest on top of the capital debt? Or did they waive their right to it?

I presume something has happened to your Income & Expenditure since you started reducing your surplus income? Do you own any property/assets? Perhaps the IP can call a variation meeting proposing to either reduce your payments to an affordable level or asking creditors to accept payments to date...

No.

What is it you are awaiting for?

Was the variation approved?

If you are waiting for your Completion Certificate some firms take up to 6 months to send it...

I would presume a DRO won't apply with the estimated surplus income you might have of up to £900.

We cannot say if an IVA is the best option for you without knowing a lot more information. For example Bankruptcy or a Debt Relief Order might also be worth exploring. What do you do for a living? How much income would you have left at the end of every month if you did not have to pay your creditors...

What was the original debt? How much assets have been paid in since the start of the IVAs? (Look at the receipts and payments in the latest Annual progress report you got from your IP) Also look at their outstanding costs disclosed in the report. I can then give you a very rough estimate as to what ...

Is there a special reason you have decided to sell the house and pay all the equity over instead of offering a variation first and only paying over an amount equal to the remaining contributions? This is going to cost you a lot more doing it this way so I wouldn't recommend it. These quick video I m...

This sounds strange to me - surely your Dad can instruct his bank to send his funds to any payee he likes?

What does the Bank have to do with it?

Check the terms of your IVA - many have a standard closure term which is 6 months.

Remind the IP firm of this and tell them you are going to lodge a formal complaint with the gateway if your CC is not received by the 6 month date.

As Foggy says take care with the offer. If you don't get an offer accepted all of your share of equity will have to be paid into the IVA (unless and until total debts plus interest plus costs have been paid in full).

Why pay off everything in full when you don't have to? Bear in mind you will have to pay statutory interest plus costs so the settlement figure could be very high. You will be losing some of your pension/property. Instead why not put forward a full and final from the pension proceeds based on the nu...

As Foggy says - if you get a DRO then the DMP will be academic as most (or likely all) of your debts will be dealt with via the DRO instead.

You will be leaving an informal arrangement for a formal insolvency procedure.

Unfortunately if the majority of creditors voted against the IVA there wouldn't have been anything the Nominee could have done.
