Some firms take up to 6 months to close a case and issue a CC - check your proposals for what was allowed as an Admin period at the end. Keep the pressure on them to close.

Hi, my wife and have contacted Stepchange who recommended an IVA. We are trying to work out if it's likely to be accepted, and what action we need to take. We have around £78K debt over 13 creditors, Stepchange looked at our budget and believe we can repay around £682 per month. We have around £600...

Unless and until the IVA has finished, you are off the insolvency register and 6 years has passed form the start of your IVA I doubt your credit rating will improve very much.

If you have not (yet) approved this proposed modification then the IVA highly likely to not be approved as it sounds as if it's hinging on this modification. I suspect the creditors might be saying they feel the payments are a little high so you will need to find the savings elsewhere on your expend...

By my calculations it will cost you c£861 go down the secured route option.

As Foggy says you need to weigh up the pros and cons. How likely you are to be left an inheritance or earn extra income etc that may have to be paid over in full or part into the IVA over the next 3 years.

Their annual report should include details of any dividends paid and a receipts and Payments Schedule listing all the R&P in the IVA.

Many IVAs do not pay out a dividend until the end as the costs come out first and are often front loaded.
