Make sure they correct that statement by either sending a corrected report to creditors again now or correcting it in next years report.

You will be unlikely to remortgage with the IVA in place so the most likely scenario (if you don't go down the other route of 3rd party lump sum or secured loan) is a 12 months extension of your IVA.

If you fail your IVA the IP will take their costs out of the monies you have paid in to date. There may not be anything left for the creditors. You will then be back to square one and will have to pay your total debts plus interest and at risk of debt recovery proceedings. How much are you total cre...

Sorry to repeat myself but can you confirm how much equity there is in your property?

If you can show it is less than £10k then the extension may not be applicable and you may be able to complete your IVA now instead of paying another 12 months...

Is it materially more than £5k and is that just for your share or joint? Is that based on an actual valuation? If so then it's likely the 12 month extension will apply and you have 12 more payments to make... Its a joint mortgage and joint iva, Freeman Jones use a certain site apparently they use f...

Good luck and make sure your offer is worded to say that any contributions you pay into the IVA in the meantime whilst a creditors decision is being made, will be deducted from the lump sum.

By 'cancelling' your IVA I presume you are failing it? Usually when the IP writes to you initially they confirm the reason why the IVA is the better solution and why alternative options have been rejected. Check the original correspondence you had with them. Our of interest what procedure are you go...
