If you can prove that they are acting against what they previously told you then challenge it with them.

Worst case you might need specialist solicitors to help you fight for the funds, depending on how much it is.

Their legal blurb is at the very bottom but has no mention of Insolvency Practitioners so I suspect they perhaps act as a Middleman and refer you to an IP.

If your husband's IVA is approved you need to have a plan to deal with the full amount of joint debts (as they can look to you for full repayment) plus your sole debts.

Do you agree with their calculations?

Either:

a) There has been a mistake with the comps.
b) There has been a mistake with the financial info you have given them (usually on an I&E)
c) you are overspending on non essential items.

You may need ALL other creditors to vote, and vote in favour, in order to get the IVA through as you will need 75% in value voting to approve.
