I agree with the others - you always owe the total debts, interest and costs but anything remaining at the end of a successful IVA is written off. £5.5k is a very small debt to have put forward an IVA on but that's in the past now and you can't change it. As Foggy says you can either have a payment ...

Once you have given them what they need they have 21 days to write to creditors with the variation giving at least 14 days notice of the meeting to vote on it.

I suspect you will find the card has been stopped/frozen when you go to use it.

You could try a small payment to test the water.

If your question is that payments finished in September and should you have received your CC by now then yes, unless there are other assets/issues your IP needs to deal with - chase them up in writing.

Lots of firms allow 6 months for the closure period so you should have heard something by now.

Nb They have to call the variaiton meeting within 21 days so one month to 5 weeks is not quite right.

Has the Nominees report been produced yet? The Nominee would not recommend the IVA proposals be presented to creditors for consideration if they did not think it had a reasonable prospect of success.

Slightly hard decision as this will mean another variation however if you get it confirmed that the payments will be reduced to £120 then you can make a lower F&F. (bear in mind most IPs firms charge £500 per variation so the creditors might consider that the costs will rise by £1,000 due to two...

As regards your discussion with he Aperture employee - to be fair it's not up to him to make the decision so it's difficult for him to give any opinion to you. Re F&Fs every case is unique - ultimately it will be up to creditors to decide - the more attractive the offer the more likely it is to ...

Given the age of your IVAs I doubt the secured loan would have formed part of the terms and if so doesn't need to be considered. You really do need to look at both IVA proposals and any mods.
