Yes, thats exactly what they’ve done - added things in like car tax (which I don’t pay as my car is exempt),meals at work (which I don’t have) and dry cleaning (which again I don’t use). I’m more perturbed as why they’ve missed my daughter off the number of people in the household. I think I’m just ...

My circumstances have recently changed, I notified my IP and they have asked that I complete a new I&E form. They have emailed me a copy of my current I&E but it’s been amended from the one I sent in July for my annual review. Which was accepted at the time with no comments or changes. The m...

Hi all, I was a transferee from PJG to Creditfix a couple of years ago. I emailed Customer Service (and got an acknowledgement) on 27 November 2017 requesting advice on early settlement due to a change in my circumstances - I’m in final year. No response, so I emailed again on 15 December, again ac...

Hi Lisa, We are not really sure but would estimate around £20-£25k at the moment. He's got 14 years left to pay and owes £140k Also, I worked out its going to take nearer 10 years in a DMP to pay everything off. He seems to think it's over 6 years and the remainder of the debt is wiped off. But ther...

Hi Andy, I think it's going to be around 8 years for the DMP. I'm going to suggest he speaks to you, as suggested by Kallis. It seems that he will have to pay back the whole amount owed (approx £35k), either by the DMP or a secured loan for the remainder, after a IVA. So I guess it's just which way ...

Hello, I hope you can help me? My friend has contacted Stepchange with a view to taking an IVA but has instead been advised a DMP would be better. They have said that he would be required to remortgage in the 5th year with an IVA and this has put him off. My question is - surely a remortgage would b...

35 payments left.

Thanks again.

Just a quick update. Variation meeting is scheduled for beginning of October and have now been passed to 'Resolutions' rather than 'Collections'. No-one seems to have a record of any of my previous emails, I have to keep forwarding them a copy of what's happened previously but on a positive note all...

Spoke to Collection Manager and the termination notice was sent by mistake! Give me strength!!!!
He has confirmed in writing that I can restart my payments at the original amount.

Thanks for all the advice. This forum really is a great place when you are in trouble.

Thanks so much everyone for your advice. I've had an email to day from a 'senior collections manager' asking me to contact him to discuss my I&E. No mention of a termination certificate. Very confused - it's someone new who I haven't dealt with before and there is no acknowledgement in the email tha...

Hi, Yes, I have quite a lot of email correspondence about proposing a variation and asking me to send in new I&E etc, also quite a few apologies for not coming back to me and staff being off sick etc. BUT some of the conversations were over the phone so that is a lesson learnt for me - I will always...
