IVA will not appear on a DBS check and a soft search credit check is, I believe, for ID only. In any event, they know about the IVA, so I don't see an issue. Good luck with the new job. Hi,

My partner is offering me 3k in regards to settling my IVA that the figure is currently 6k 48 months of 130 per month repayments. Do you think this is acceptable as he doesn't know where to start in regards to sending a letter as I have been told I can't do the letter.
