Agreed - an IVA is a contract with obligations on all sides.
If CF are seeking to change the contract and the contract does not specifically include how assessments are done in this way, then they have to change the contract.

Some of their practices are not standard.
I would recommend looking at smaller companies where you can also gauge how likely it is you will get on with them.
The larger comapnies tend to spend a lot of effort on onboarding but then you end up with indifferent service.
