Hi, I'm still without heating, ( my heating system was condemned a few weeks ago) I simply can't find anyone willing to lean / beg or borrow from. I'm not on benefits so not able to receive any help from government. I'm on a iva so unable to achieve finance. Iva break won't help ...

Sorry about digging out this old post, however given the horrid situation I'm in, for those whom don't know I'm on year 3.5 of an iva and just had our warm air heating system condemned. It's not fixable. We're gone to everyone I can't think of for loan / grant's / beg & bowwow. Obs still without...

Has he actually disconnected the unit and issued paperwork ?

Hi,
Yes, he has disconnected the unit and I do have the paper work. I have no issue with the company who disconnected the unit. They are gas safe registered.

Hi.
Could try that, thank you,
It was condemned because:
The ventilation is not safe under new regulations.
The unit it self was corroded and back plate not attached,
The flume is broken in several places and deteriorated. He said we were extremely lucky nothing awful had happened.

I've had a look through the posts none of them are relevant as they are boilers, so they were looking s like for like.
we don't have a boiler or wet system in place.

It's such a horrible situation to be in

Can someone help me please?
My car was hit by someone. The driver has admitted fault and we have received our car insurance excess back. I think we can keep it but my husband think it comes under the windfall clause. Can anyone shed any light on this?
Many thanks
