The creditors meeting date is simply a deadline for your creditors to get their vote in as to whether they are in favour or against of your iva proposal

A restriction is placed on a property when either yourself or someone you share a property with enters into an iva to ensure if the house is sold it allows for any equity to be considered as part of the persons iva. Normally the restriction is lifted once the iva is concluded and certificate issued....

We approached our iva as if it was a five year loan. We broke it down in percentages - 20% per year; I had a tick list on the fridge from 60 down to 1 so each month we ticked the payments going and saw it going down.

I would save via a friend or put the money onto a saver card for the supermarket you use. Certainly would be dubious about catalogue savings that then charge significantly more for things ... but each to their own and everyone is entitled to their own opinions
