How much do you pay monthly into your iva ? Does the £5000 on offer from your brother allow for your monthly payment multiplied by months left of iva ? Presuming it does then put the offer across but make it clear the offer is only available for the ending of your iva, if not approved you will not h...

Merged your two posts to avoid duplication. Have you confirmed that any tax refund has indeed been sent direct to your IP? Have you checked with HMRC to see if a refund has been issued? Even if it has been sent direct, you should have received notification of the amount from HMRC, if you haven't I w...

Hang on in until completion certificate is issued and defaults drop off your credit file if you can. I used Moneybarn for car finance, it was high interest rates but it gave the funds for a newer car. I recall there was a minimum loan amount of £5000, but that may have changed as it was done years a...

Rant away .... Always a difficult situation to advise on here on the forum. Hopefully your IP will be back in contact with you quickly before the automatic take from wages occurs and a way forward can be agreed. It may mean an extension to your IVA. The most important thing here is the love for your...

Ramble away ..we are here to listen and offer support. The offer being made to your creditors is the best option available based on your circumstances. 22p in the £ is not the lowest I have seen offered and accepted. Your chosen IP would not have put it forward if they felt it was not achievable. I ...

Once you reach the 6th anniversary of the start of your iva your credit reports will start to show improvement as the defaults drop off. I would check to see that the defaults are all the date your iva started or before. Any registered after this date should be changed to the start date. We had a fe...

Echo everyone's comments before. Really important to select the right company to represent you. Taking time now to research and ensure your I&E is set correctly is vital as the duration of an iva is not always plain sailing so you will need to be sure its affordable. Good luck and feel free to c...
