Whilst in an iva there will be a restriction placed on the sale of your house to ensure equity raised is paid back to your creditors up to 85% value (I think thst is the right figure) of your property, leaving you enough probably to pay a deposit for rental accomodation. You have to get the permissi...

Prior to the creditors meeting you are ok to withdraw. I would ring your IVA company and inform then asking for your paperwork to be returned to you - i would then follow up in writing.

You are free to approach other providers.

You need to get some professional advice - HMRC can be included in your debt if you were to go with an iva but professional advice is what you need to ascertain which debt solution is the most ameniable to your situation.

Unfortunately your credit report will continue to show your iva for 6 years from its start date - so October 2020 ! Releasing equity may well be diffucult whilst it remains on your records. Ryan and or Shaun will give more specific advice. Good luck !

If your sister has been named in a will and is due to inherit her IP needs to be aware to ensure creditors receive what they are entitled to. As frustrating as it is this is a windfall and needs to be paid for the benefit of her creditors

I would agree with Merlin however as your IP appears to already be aware of the situation then you will be expected to provide more return to your creditors from tbe redundancy money.

Great that he has secured new work already - well done !

Any change in circumstances need to be reported to your IP.
However to answer your question re the difference; your partners income will be used to ensure fair split of household bills etc based on income and my understanding this is similar to a "lodger" so no not alot of difference

If your creditors meeting went ahead and your creditors approved the proposal before it is a "sealed deal" you should be asked to sign and return the chairmans report. Can I ask why you are cancelling it after the creditors meeting ? Have your financial circumstances changed for the better ?
