Little surprised the cheque was not sent direct to the iva company ...
Sadly it is what others have said ...your iva will now benefit from it and it will provide a greater return to creditors.

Maybe a review of your income and expenditure will allow for a more balanced budget andcalleviate tge need of a overdraft.
As others hsve said the likelihood of being approved is low due to the iva anyway.

Not sure the DLA for your eldest would need to be declared if it is received by them and not through your account ? Worth checking with your IP.
Your youngest for sure should be declared but offset against the help and support it provides.

Its great you now are in a position to pay your debts however would it not be better to work with your IP and suggest a full and final offer to your creditors offering them 100% of the original debt. You may want to consider seeking approval to "remove" the statutory interest that creditor...

I am sure Ryan and or Shaun will be about later this morning to give you the advice you are seeking.

Here's hoping that you are successful in your homebuying in 2020 when clear of your iva. Good luck x

Getting out the iva a year early will not remove it from file ... personally I would be wary over taking on another longer term loan to complete an iva .... I may be old school here as my IVA concluded 9 years ago but is that not just taking on new debt, and for longer at that too ! I would demonstr...

My understanding is yes they do have a potential right to it as it will be taken in the same light as PPI claims.

However, two years on I maybe tempted to tuck it away in my rainy day fund and move on with my life. Are we talking alot of money?
