Hmmm..your mum's financial affairs should not be posing an issue as they are not linked to your iva, however your bank appear to have a policy of their own. (My opinion). I act as my grandmothers POA in my IVA without any issue so I think it is down to bank policies. Maybe go in and speak to the bra...

I am still not convinced ... surely they would be giving more than two weeks notice of needing to change account details and surely in the age of digital technology they would have updated their website to put on a notification or a voicemail automated message to confirm the changes...they must have...

If you can afford to repay 100p then so be it ... your debt will have been far more with added interest so I would be extremely grateful of the iva and the conditions within it as you would have been paying your debt back far longer than the term of the iva.

Debts are often sold on but remain party to your iva terms and conditions. The companies who buy debts often do so a really low prices but it does not impact on you at all.
