Hi my IVA is officially over! It ended early via F&F. My question can I start taking steps to rebuild my credit file or will I have to wait until the 6 years is up?

The more you pester them the more likely they might be to speed your up.
I had to pester them like crazy to push my F&F through so I’m not holding out much hope for a quick turn around! Amazing took about 6 weeks to set me up and prob 6 months to end it 😂

You can keep on at them but 5 weeks isn't long.

Unfortunately some firms do use the 6 months as a minimum instead of maximum.

Keep pressure on your IP to release it.
How long shall I leave it before beginning to push them for it ? It’s only been about 5 weeks .

Why do completition certificates take so Long to arrive?! I’ve been told 3-6 months due to the admin involved. I’m not exactly thrilled at the idea of being attached to this for another 6 months and I’m led to believe it’s another 3 months before my names off the register ??

I’ve been sent a letter about completing an annual review but my full and final was accepted two weeks ago. They also did a review so before my full and final offer was put through so surely this is a mistake ?

No -- the trust is the relationship created by the IVA. It means that your IP can deal with anything like PPI refunds or the like that crops up in the next 12 months under the terms of the now closed arrangement. Some IP's will sever the trust right away and others will allow it to run indefinitely...

My full and final was accepted last week. I’ve received a letter confirming this . It says the trust created on approval of the arrangement will end 12 months following the issuance of final report to creditors ? I don’t get it? Does it mean that I’m bound by the terms of my IVA for 12 months ? Do c...

It’s what confused me as it’s a refund due to poor account management . If my full and final goes through I’m surely entitled to keep the money as I will be no longer bound by terms of IVA... I hope!!
