I don’t think the accountant was expecting it to go up that much and neither were we. I’ve re-read his t&c’s and can’t see anything about a back payment so at least that something. I guess they will treat as if I got a pay rise at the review and just increase the IVA payments by 50%. I’m going t...

I have been sending my payslips to them quarterly but they have never asked for anything from my husband. I know that when we started the process they asked if last years earnings were pretty standard and i said yes - which they were and have proof of this. I'm really panicking that they will make u...

Hi…my husband and I are in a joint IVA. He is self-employed, I am not. When we started the IVA process in Sept 2017 we obviously used the 2016/2017 tax return where he earned net profit £12.5k. His profit has roughly been this for the past 6 years or more. We have just completed his tax return for 2...

Hi...I am going to be taking on a role temporarily for 5 months covering someones absence. This job will see me get a temporary pay rise of about £300 a month after tax. My annual review will probably be smack bang in the middle of it. As it is only temporary i don't want my IVA company to permanent...

They are saying your base salary is £2094 --- 10% is £209 bonus was £645 Take off the £209 = £436 50/50 is £218 to be paid in. I can see the way they are doing it .. but cannot understand why the result is different. Nor can I understand why, every time you and I do the maths, we get around £220 an...

Update: after 2 more chasers they came back and said they were sorry for the confusion that I owed £281. So it’s come down from 387 to 281. Told them I could pay that within the 14 time limit but I still wanted a calculation breakdown. Would be interested in seeing the controls they have in place ar...

Got my bonus paid on the 28th Feb. Sent my payslip to my IP on the 14th March (deadline stated in my T&C's). Chased after a couple of days as hadn't heard anything. Still no response. Used the payplan plus app to send a message on another topic and got a response back from someone other than my ...

So I saw Martin Lewis the other day and he was saying that if you didn’t earn over the 21k mark in a tax year then you are due a refund of the student loan u pain in that year. So in 2010-2011 I went on maternity in July and wouldn’t have earned over the threshold I reckon I’m owed just over the £50...
