Topic: Natwest instant saver account?

I have one account which all direct debits come out of. I then transfer excess money in to another account and use my debit card as normal.

I do also have a savings account. I’ve been putting husbands over time in there but we do also have a bit of cash withdrawn just in case we need it.

Thanks Sue, you are right!

We got our annual review back and very pleased. Our payment was decreased (only by £10) but still happy. My husband had received a pay rise but we lost our tax credits (due to income being over the threshold). So we broke even there.

Just waiting a reply back off our 1st annual review. 1 year down, 5 to go! (plus another year maybe when we look at equity in the house). I feel like this year has gone by quite quickly but still a bit upset we are stuck in a starter home that’s too small and in 6 years our kids will be teenagers an...

No, you are only entitled to free school meals if you are on certain benefits and earn under a certain amount of income.

All key stage 1 children get free school meals though. I pay for my eldests school meals now he’s in key stage 2 and we just put it in the allowance, so we have budgeted for it.

Just checking...... our half of overtime that we get to keep....we can save this up can’t we? I just don’t want to end up with an amount of money and we have to hand it over to the IVA.

Just trying to save for the future and/or any big emergencies!

Sorry just thought of something else. So my husband also had two small pay rises this past year and my IP told me I had to send 50% of the increase over to them. So was this right or should we have been able keep this? I know we have to send over 50% of any over time or bonus.

Oh I found it!! Don’t know how I missed it! 10 (10) the supervisor is required to review your income and expenditure once in every 12 months by reference to latest P60, pay slips, and proof of increase in any expenditure. You will be required to increase your monthly contribution by 50% of any net s...

Hi, My husband is looking to move to a different firm and if he got the job there would be an increase in his wage. Roughly a 20k increase a year. What I want to know is at the next annual review would we have to pay over all the additional income? I can’t find anything in my proposal stating this. ...

Thank you foggy! I’ve sent an email to get ball rolling. Offered £7,000 as don’t want to offer too low and they say no!
