Foggy can you redo your petition? I am sure in light of all the recent credit fix blunders there might be more interest. I signed the original one (insert halo here!)

I never even told the ex husband the log on to my bank accounts, never mind authorising a 3rd party access.

I would give them a call (if you can get through!) and explain you are at risk of having nowhere to live and the imminent nature of this means you should hopefully be treated as a vulnerable person. If there is no way you can be prioritised due to this, then I would be putting in a complaint. In fac...

I had set up a post office account for the occasional such as opticians and hairdressers and had a direct debit on pay day, but the payments back took 2 days, and it wasn't on hand when the cat needed the vet urgently. Cancelled that for now until I save a buffer amount in my current account for eve...

Hello everyone. I have recently applied for a Business account with Natwest but they have come back with an insolvency/bankruptcy flag. I'm assuming this is my IVA. Only thing is my IVA was settled five maybe 6 years ago! I am fully solvent, have a mortgage, car finance etc so my credit history is ...

It does depend on creditors, I know when mine comes to an end I will have a deal if clean up to do, based on Foggys guides as the default date is only correct on 3 out of 10 accounts. Natwest didn't do it immediately but they have since sold the debts onto Eversheds who did register it correctly. Mi...

https://www.gov.uk/trusts-taxes In the link above it doesn't say someone in an IVA can't act as a trustee for the type of trust you refer to (charities are an out and out no) - however, it also says "The trustees are the legal owners of the assets held in a trust." The best thing might be ...

Ironically when I took a promotion, it had less financial impact as I moved area and have no responsibility for payment systems. My old job pre IVA included making payments which were then summarily checked by a manager and approved. As I had access to update account payment methods and make payment...

Am I right in thinking that the court ruling was 2016? I think I would be arguing that my crystal ball wasn't working the day I got the cheque, and believing the IVA completed monies have been spent. If asked to repay, I would present evidence of the date the money went in (and any large outgoing as...

The insolvency register is publicly available so you could potentially search the builder on there if you know his full name and have a vague idea of his age /address you would see the insolvency practitioner listed on there.

My experience of frozen accounts was with a different bank, a joint account I had requested to get my name off was still in use by ex, as I had a credit card with them, the bank froze the account 3 days after he was paid. This happened as soon as the creditor meeting date was set. I had to go in so ...

If you are still with the same bank now you might be able to locate payment dates via online banking search transactions which could get you the name of the firm and an idea on dates?
